Kate Cosgrove Booth

Kate Cosgrove Booth serves as the Assistant Vice President of the Conflict of Interest Office.  She came to the office in 2013 as a Senior Compliance Analyst and was promoted to Senior Compliance Specialist in April 2016.

Booth has a PhD in neuroscience from the University of Pittsburgh and came to Northwestern as a postdoctoral researcher, completing two positions in the Department of Physiology in Feinberg School of Medicine.  She then worked for a research center in McCormick School of Engineering helping to foster international collaboration and STEM education initiatives for K-16 students. 

Booth recently completed her Masters of Science in Law at Northwestern’s Pritzker School of Law, focusing on regulatory compliance and intellectual property law.  She also participates in Responsible Conduct of Research courses for Masters students, PhD students and postdoctoral researchers.
