Individuals reporting animal health emergencies after hours, on weekends or holidays must contact the emergency answering service at 866-204-1633. The service will collect necessary information and contact the on-call veterinarian.

When reporting an emergency, please furnish the following information:

1. Nature of the problem.
2. The name and call back phone number of person reporting the emergency.
3. Where problem is (what campus, building, rm number, cubicle).
4. Animal species.
5. Animal identification number (cage card if rodent)
6. The principal investigator's name.
