NSEC provides substantive contributions to nanotechnology scholarship, infrastructure, and interdisciplinary education. Affiliated researchers focus on developing new and powerful detection technologies for biological and chemical analyses based on nano-engineered materials. The Center also provides innovative programs and initiatives to educate the public and train the next generation of scientists and engineers.
