Committees

Imaging Advisory Committee - is a faculty committee whose goal is to develop an university-wide strategic plan for investigators working with advanced imaging technologies. An important aspect of this plan is identifying and procuring instrumentation and technical expertise required to work with these technologies. Consequently, the Committee advises the Office for Research (OR) on the instrumentation and technical support needs of these technologies on a biannual basis.

Advancing the Biophysical and Biochemical Sciences (ABBS) Core Facilities Committee - is a faculty committee whose goal is to develop an university-wide strategic plan for investigators working in biophysics, biochemistry, biological and physical chemistry. An important connection between these disciplines is the overlapping instrumentation and technical expertise required to work in these areas. Consequently, the Committee advises the Office for Research on the instrumentation and technical support needs of these disciplines on a biannual basis.
