Safety Enforcement Policy

Compliance with federal and agency rules and regulations is essential to maintaining Northwestern University's eligibility for federal funding. The Office for Research Safety (ORS) helps ensure that the University is compliant with local, state, and federal research safety regulations. To that end, ORS developed the Safety Enforcement Policy to minimize the risk that University personnel and property will be endangered by non-compliance with those safety regulations and procedures.
