Effort Reporting

After-the-fact activity reporting is required to support all salaries and wages charged to or cost-shared on sponsored projects. Effort reporting serves to reemphasize the responsibility of the PI to attest to the accuracy of the quarterly distribution of effort by signing the reports personally or by delegating this authority only to individuals who have first-hand knowledge of the appropriate allocation of faculty or staff effort.
