National Endowment for the Humanities

Northwestern University, Office of Research Development, is pleased to host an NEH regional grant-writing workshop that will be conducted by Dr. Stefanie Walker, Senior Program Officer, Division of Research Programs, NEH.

Dr. Walker will provide an introduction to endowment programs and initiatives; offer strategies for writing competitive applications and understanding the review process; facilitate a mock peer review panel and a question and answer session. Anyone interested in learning about these opportunities and strategies is invited to attend this valuable workshop, including non-Northwestern University attendees.

The workshop is free, although registration is required. Please register to reserve your seat, as seats are limited.

There is also a limited number of one-on-one consultations with Dr. Walker during the afternoon of March 5th and 6th on a first come, first serve basis. On March 5th, preference for one-on-ones will be given to NU faculty. On March 6th, one-on-ones are open to all attendees. Faculty interested in a consultation session must register in advance and email a one-page abstract of their proposals to Dr. Walker by 5 p.m. on February 20, 2014.
