In Defense of Animal Research: Pro-test Takes on Protest

Extremists protesting against animal research at UCLA were met by a rally of 400 UCLA scientists and their supporters on April 22. According to the Los Angeles Times, the scientists and their supporters were led by J. David Jentsch, whose family car was firebombed by an extremist group known as the Animal Liberation Brigade, which took credit for the fire.
