Rachael Andel Basnett, Research Administrator
Research Administrator Rachael Andel Basnett, is a Research Administrator within the Office of Research Development at Northwestern University. She supports the pre-award process for major, strategic and interdisciplinary initiatives at Northwestern University. Rachael also works with the Associate VPR and Director of Core Facilities to assist in the acquisition of large-scale equipment and promote collaboration within the Northwestern research community. She has over seven years of research administration experience, both at Northwestern University and previously, at the University of Chicago, where she was the Pre- and Post-Award Administrator for the Section of General Internal Medicine and the UC Hospitalist Program. Rachael received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Northern Illinois University, where she majored in Applied Sociology with a focus on Survey Research Methodology and Analysis.
