Program Overview & Mission

The Navigating the Professoriate Program for 2007 recognizes and supports the great promise of women faculty members like you, who will make significant and long term contributions to Northwestern University. The program seeks to prepare early career women faculty for success as investigators, mentors, leaders, and educators by promoting core research and laboratory, management, and other professional skills. During the year, Navigating the Professoriate Fellows will participate in a monthly series of luncheons and afternoon skill-building workshops coupled with directed networking with women in diverse science, medical, and engineering fields. Speakers and panelists for the Navigating the Professoriate Program will be drawn from a pool of Northwestern senior science and engineering faculty and administrators.
