The Department of Health and Human Services' Public Health Service (PHS) has issued a new policy to respond to research misconduct that occurs on PHS-funded activities. Northwestern University also has a responsibility to ensure compliance with this and other policies for research activities at NU. We have prepared this Feature to inform you of the new PHS policy.
The Department of Health and Human Services' Public Health Service (PHS) has published a final rule revising its research misconduct policies. Effective June 16, 2005, 42 CFR Part 93 replaces the former 42 CFR Part 50. The full policy can be reviewed on-line at http://ori.dhhs.gov/documents/FR_Doc_05-9643.shtml
