New Online Resource for the Research Community!
What is it?A web-based tool containing detailed information related to specific roles and responsibilities for each stage in the research administration process at Northwestern University:
Anyone involved in the research administration process – school/unit and central administrators, faculty, etc.
Why should I use it?The purpose of this web-based resource is to help members of the research community better understand the various roles and responsibilities in the research process. A user also has the ability to generate and print customized reports.
How was it created?Faculty, school/unit and central administrators participated in workgroups that created a comprehensive list of research related tasks along with the corresponding roles and responsibilities.
Where can I find it?The link to the website can be found on The Guide for Research Information, as well as ORI’s homepage. After reading through the instructions, you also have the option to save the direct link to your Internet Favorites folder. Click here to access the Research Roles & Responsibilities web page.
