The Information Technology Consultant is responsible for managing the day-to-day operaton of the department IT infrastructure, including the administration, installation, training and support of client/server hardware, software, peripherals, and networked systems for multiple operating systems. She is also responsible for applying technical and business knowledge to analyze, recommend and implement policies, procedures and standards in various technology and service areas that affect the department.

The Information Technology Consultant is also responsible for managing the chemical inventory program of the University. This program fulfills several regulatory compliance reporting requirements (EPA and municipal building and fire codes).
