The Biological Safety Specialist provides services to laboratories and other administrative units in the areas of laboratory animal usage, non-recombinant microorganisms, biocontainment facilities, biohazardous waste disposal, preparation and maintenance of exposure control plans, and audits of select agents on both the Chicago and Evanston Campuses.
