Michael Blayney, Ph.D. became the new Executive Director for Research Safety on August 13th, 2012. Prior to arriving at NU, Michael was the Director of Environmental Health & Safety at Dartmouth College for seventeen years.

The Office for Research Safety (ORS) is renewing its commitment to Northwestern and its surrounding communities. Our goal is to provide health and safety services that reflect the scientific excellence that defines research and teaching at Northwestern. We look forward to improving our services and responsiveness to everyone we serve at NU. Please let us know what we can do to help.
