Safety Training

Office for Research Safety offers courses required by regulatory agencies to help University employees and students work safely while complying with regulations.

Before registering or attending any of our courses, you should:

  1. Have a Northwestern ID and NetID:

    Check with your supervisor for assistance in obtaining a valid Employee/Student ID and NetID in order to access University computer systems.

  2. Determine What Training You Need:

    Determine which courses you need and read the Safety Training Policies.

  3. Determine What Training You Have Completed:

    Read information and instructions on accessing your training records in the University's Human Resources Information System (HRIS).

Chicago: Montgomery Ward Building, Room B132 (basement)
Evanston: Technological Institute, Room NG71 (ground floor), ORS conference room
