Tuition for Graduate Student Research-Assistants Supported by Sponsored Projects

last updated 09/08/09

Northwestern employs a direct tuition charging mechanism by which graduate student research-assistants (RAs) supported by sponsored projects have the tuition component of their support charged directly to the projects. RAs do not pay taxes on the tuition component of their support.
