Safety Review of Facilities and Equipment

The Office for Research Safety (ORS) distributes the Policy on Safety Review of New and Renovated Facilities and Equipment, which establishes the requirements and mechanisms for safety review of all facility renovations and new construction having potential health and safety impacts.

The scope of the policy ranges from small projects, such as installation of an incubator, to major renovations. To request copies of the policy, contact ORS at 312-503-8300 in Chicago.
