Anne Martin

Anne joined Northwestern University in the Office for Research in 2013.  Her current role is Executive Director of Financial Administration in which she supports the Office for Research budget and strategic planning goals, projects future financial needs based on Northwestern priorities and works collaboratively with the Office for Budget & Planning, the Provost office, and the schools on financial issues.

Her diverse background includes running her own consultancy targeting corporate finance for small to mid-size companies, working in the large corporate environment and also in the public accounting field.    Anne spent 14 years in senior finance roles at Baxter International.  Her concentration was Financial Reporting and Planning as well as working across the matrix environment of Sales, Marketing, Operations and Corporate. 

Her roles at Baxter included Director of Financial Reporting & Planning for the Medical Products Division, Director of Global Financial Planning, and she completed her career at Baxter as Assistant Treasurer.  Prior to Baxter, Anne worked at PriceWaterhouseCoopers. She is a registered Certified Public Accountant.  Anne holds a Bachelors of Business Administration in Accounting from the University of Notre Dame and a Masters of Management degree from Kellogg at Northwestern.
